Sometimes I'm so overwhelmed by God's beauty I feel like my heart is going to burst. There are lots of imperfections in the world, in the people around us, and in ourselves, and while we should continually be striving to conform to the likeness of Christ, I feel like there are times when we just need to step back and breathe in His perfection and goodness and solidity. With a God like ours, how can we respond with anything but sheer, unadulterated adoration?

"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows" James 1:17

May we always be aligning our vision with that of Christ's so that we do not miss out on all the moments He is taking delight in us, and so in turn, our love and joy can captivate those around us and bring pleasure to Him.

I know it's been a while, so here'e a quick update

-Rowena, Colleen and I finally found a house to live in next year

-I'm learning how to trust God more and more everyday. It's so easy to say that you trust until you're put in a situation where your faith is tested.

-As the precious girls of O'Fallon's youth group say, "singleness is not a disease" (this has been a tough lesson, haha)

-This summer I thought I would be spending it at camp again, but God had other plans. After lots of deliberating and praying, I decided to take an internship with O'Fallon Christian Church. I'm going to miss camp a lot, but am totally looking forward to minstering at OCC. So, this means if you're going to be in St. Louis this summer, we are hanging out : )

I hope everyone is doing so well and is surviving the last few days of school. I love you guys.
